its not a socket, per say. if you have one of those screw driver set with a bunch of differant pattern`d heads it shoul dbe in there.

the o2 sensor is in the header on my 02

i know on my 03 it was in the up-pipe...

well either way if you have the right socket not a problem..

i would relocate the egt to the dp so it doesnt get burned up. ive seen alot of people do that, mines like that.

if you have an aftermarket EGT you want it as close to the headers as possible, that way you are getting an acuret reading. if not it will be hard to tune. most of the best tuners will recomend that as well.

not saying you did it wrong frankie... just not the way i would do it

if it is the stock sensor.... your call.

im talking about the stock sensor, with the up pipe cat gone ive seen some people melting them in the up pipe. it happened to my car

can the car function without an egt sensor? and is the cel eliminator mod the same for the 05?

I believe so cause the sensor is there primairly to protect the cat in the up pipe. Thats why STi's dont have one there. 99.9 on this.
