Default Any experience with Turbo Xs exhaust?

Thinking about getting at least a dp and cat for my car. However I've read that Txs cat can only be used with Txs mid pipe or Txs cat back (i.e. midpipe + axleback). Anybody have personal experience otherwise?

Can another brand of cat, say random tech, be bolted to the the Txs dp?

Also their mid pipe can be had in 3" inlet with 3" outlet or 3" inlet with 2.5" outlet. What axlebacks have y'all used with the 3" outlet? Any fabricating necessary or do they just bolt up?

Thanks.

Brett,

My friend here in town has a TXS exhaust. It looks good. It sounds kind of funny to me. Not as deep as the HKS. He did have a catted mid-pipe that he gutted. The only thing I did like about it is the downpipe is HUGE! If there is any chance you will be going to an external gate set-up, I would keep what you have. It sounds better any way.

If I could do it again I would get a Helix DP, and whatever catback I wanted. My Injen was too expensive. As for TXS parts, I have heard the catback sounds nice, depending on what tone you want.

Did they fix the bumper melting problem? The darn things hang way too low for me to ever think of buying.

My friend's is tucked in and high. Since he is running rich, his yellow WRX looks like it needs to wipe its ass. You maybe able to use longer exhaust hangers.

B:

I have been running the TXS Stealth Back (4" Bellmouth)with a Stromung Dual TIp Axle Back. (2.5") I have both the cat and race pipe. Sound is awesome. The rear bumper is a little yellow, mainly from being catless for over 60,000 m. You can switch with the stock muffler, Prodrive, TXS(Magnaflow), Stromung or any other stock fitting axle back. Plenty of options for sound.

I have a TXS tbe! The mid pipe needs to be 3" from the dp and 2.5" to the axleback! So any mid pipe would work as long as it has those inlet and exit sizes.
