Default Catbacks on Suby's Needed?????

Im about to get a WRX, I just came from a turbo'd civic..
I ran my exhaust strait from the Turbo's Downpipe all the way
back up too the ApexiN1 (( I removed the catback ))... I didnt have any CHECK CODE engine lights or smoke coming out the exahust...
**I'am new in the Boxer engine world** so i dont knw too much about em., are there alot of ppl that run ((fastflow cat's, NO cat's at all, OR run em with stock cat's))..
I also, luv the way WRX sound (bubbly). So i would really like to bring that out.......
I'am not too sure if ppl are running with em or with out em...

if you want some easy HP a catless 3'' exhaust is the best way to go. and it will have that bubble sound you like.

I think he's asking:
What do people run as far as cats? Catless? Catted?

If that latter do they run high flow cats or stock cats?

Of the above choices what would best bring out the boxer rumble/burble?

Currently I am also catless but looking to put a cat on to reduce some of the stinky.

Nope, you have to get a CEL Fix, you can find those on ebay relatively cheap.

im shooting for a single h/f substrate cat this time around. although the smell of burnt (or unburnt!!lol) 100 occy is very sweet, a single metal subs. cat, (downstream from the turbo outlet section) will not affect power output, if at all, and will make the experience a bit more pleasant with the odor control....

the oem cats are best shelved, IMO, for a better performer variety......

es

ps- havent decided on whaich to go with yet, but will post up when i dooo.

Ok, 3" catless Downpipe here to a Apexi N1. You will need a CEL fix for a catless DP.
