Teh pinkness is just latex-based paint. Goof Off 2 takes it right off

I'd be glad to do a few more as long as I don't have to take the badge off the car...

I did mine from black to red. Mine in the 2002, is just held by a goey silicone, came right off with a screwdriver. The back is just paint, but the chrome parts are protected, so all you have to do is take off the old paint and redo. I used paint remover, but you have to be very careful, if it falls on the clear side, it will eat the plastic up and form some white bubbles. The Goo Off idea seems a lot better.

Also don't worry if you scratch it a little taken the last bits and pieces of the paint with a knife or anything like it, once the new paint is on it, you won't be able to see it.

 

Is it really that hard to take teh badge off?
