When i got my car ( subaru wrx 2002 ) with 34000 on it and it came with a hks BOV and it didnt work for some reason and then i saw he use to have a apexi AVC-R Boost Controler and he kept all the wiring in it and just took the sreen for it so i was thinking that might have something to do with the BOV not working because there is a hose running from it to the BOV so i got a AVCR boost control hooked it up it works perfect but my BOV is still not working im guessing it might just be broke or something .. someone help me if u know what im talking about

bov, has nothing to do really with the EBC....

it probably just broken

 

i would have to agree it is probably broken but you could try and find someone with a stock WRX and install it on thiers.

What do you meen it's not working? Do you mean that it doesn't make a noise? Maybe it is setup to recirculate? If its on the car and it was not working properly then the car would idle like crap!

 

Check the vacum hose off the BOV

If the vacuum hose was was off or only partially on the the car woul;d idle like shit and it would be obvious there was a problem.

 

and more than likely you wouldnt be able to boost more than 7-9lbs.

when you say it is broke do you mean you cant hear it???
