Default Need to get rotors turned (slotted)

Need some help finding a local shop that will turn slotted brake rotors. Most places do not have the capacity or experience with slotted or drilled rotors. Any suggestions are appreciated.

No one will touch them since the slots will tear up the bit when turning them. Only place is Jeff's Speedshop in Brandon and you have to remove the rotors and take them to him (no lift). Looking for a shop where removal is not necessary.

Umm...how so? The machine used to turn discs is bascially just a lathe. The bit is set in a toolpost, X distance from the face of the piece (di. The piece is rotated and the bit it brought across it's face, shaving off material. The only time the slots might be an issue is if the operator is lazy and decides to just take a ton of material off at once.

As for where to go, I'd just call around. Chances are any place that services Porsche would be able to do it as a lot of the OEM discs are cross-drilled (might be slotted as well). Might try Cars & Concepts or hell, why not Dave White's on Hillsborough?
