Email turn around should be fairly quick. As far as any tuning goes, it's all dependant on work load.

Sounds like I need to make a few phone calls about possible employee discounts on Garrett turbos...

Here is the response, or part of it in reference to UTEC tuning:

Hi Joseph,

We cannot formally do remote utec tuning... its just too difficult to
diagnose problems. However, if you have a wideband AF meter such as the
TXS tuner to accompany your utec it is possible to create and edit maps
via long distance by examining log files. This is something we'd be
happy to do on an informal basis as time allows.

He offered me a great deal on the TXS Tuner, however I am just considering on selling my UTEC and just getting an ECUTEK flash done by them for my final setup.

i would feel that doing a long distance tune would be on the risky side myself. but i know that PDXTuning will not do anything unhealthy and will do what ever they can to help.

if you go with the reflash opition you will be limiting yourself in the long run IMO. no more launch control, flat foot shifting map, high octane fuel map. with a reflash you can run 2 maps on your ECU and you can use the rear de froster to switch the maps.

Yeah, it's a hard decision, but my final setup will be VF22, Large TMIC, gutted uppipe,Turbo xs TBE, Perrin intake, GP MOTO inlet, Walbro pump, STI injectors, and maybe headers. So I am not doing anything outrageous, I just think the UTEC is going to be more expensive in the long run and I don't want to keep having to spend $300 for every dyno tuned map. I would rather get flashed and call it a day , no worries.
