So I'm sitting at the light at 66th st and 38th ave n. when i hear this monster dump truck sized turbo spoolin like crazy...im thinking supra? skittle? but to my surprise its none other than a...... early 90s Ford Ranger pickup truck !!!! as my jaw drops i hook a quick right and chase it down. This thing bucks! its prolly a 14 sec truck which is very respectable to what they should run lol. I gave the guy a thumbs up and drove off...man that thing was badass what a night

 

I finally got some props. LOL, how about that kick ass smoke screen I gave ya. I appreciate the run, first one since the new motor.

It is a 2.3 turbo, but it doesnt have cobra wheels, it has 97 GT wheels.
The one you are thinking of is a 91 non ext cab i think.

 

my buddy was telling me about a 2.3 turbo ranger in the st pete area that has cobra wheels. idk if its ext cab or not

 

there used to be 2 of them. the one with cobra wheels is no longer around. his truck was quick for the little amount of money he had in it. i think it ran a 9.1 in the 1/8th but not for sure. that was with a 3800 lb truck and totally stock motor.

that sounds pretty tight but i have it beat. Abotu 3 week ago i was heading home going north on east lake when i noticed a red car coming the other way. Froma distance i thought it was a C6 Corvette but come to find out it was a Deep Red Lamborghini Murcielago. I pulled U-turn and chased him down to see if he would run. He just laughed and me and droped it and took off. It was awesome

 

No mine hasnt been to the track. The turbo has a bad seal on the exhaust side and it smokes a lot. Just waiting til I get my hybrid in the mail and then to the track. I'm going to take baby steps with it. First the turbo, tune and get the most I can, then intercooler, tune some more. Then alky, and tune some more. Then if I am not going fast enough at that point, NOS, lol.
All I want is mid 13's.

 

mid 13 sec ranger would pretty cool My friend's mom has a 99 with 201K on it and he's trying to talk her into putting a 347 in it. should move pretty good. What size turbo did you get?
