Default finally removed the intake silencer and snorkel

so today my friend and i decided to take the whole ram air scoop and silencer out of my car. it shouldve only taken us 30 mins, but instead it took 2 hours lol. but after installing it and starting the car and reving it, i was anticipating what a lot of people have said about doing this mod, being that you would be able to hear the intake and the stock bpv more. i couldnt tell any difference, except for when i put my head right near the airbox and had my friend rev it. this isnt really a big deal, i just thought that i would share my experience. also, i cant tell any sort of difference with the way that the car drives with the whole plastic assembly removed and a K&N filter as opposed to stock. it was still fun none the less.

You will hear it better while you're driving with the windows up and music playing low. It took me an hour to that that crap out, but I still left the ram airscoop attached. The BOV sounds like the BOV in Gran Turismo.

Sounds just like it did when I was stock. Slight bov sound. I miss my ssqv so much, its too bad it rubbed a damn hole in my hood .

I have heard of people not being able to hit full boost after removing the intake snorkel.
