I'm looking to buy a center diff that will fit on my 98 Legacy's 5MT. I'd like to get the whole thing, housing and all but could settle for just the internals if need be.

Any unit from any GC ought to fit, and the GDB unit MIGHT also fit too (Not really sure).

lemme know what you guys have or if there is someplace where I might be able to find one for less than an arm and a lag (maybe just a leg ).

I am - how much you want for it?

 

So I went to put in this center diff today at work and it doesn't fit.

This welded piece (out of a 2.5RS?) is now back up for sale.

I'm looking for another unit, this time out of a legacy or something that will fit for sure. I predict that I'll have to go hunting in junkyards or just weld the piece I have, but if at all possible I'd like to get a second one.

Anyone else have anything else to offer? At this point I'd be willing to buy a 2nd transfer case as long as it would bolt to my transmission.

Rwd conversion for what? Would it fit in my Legacy?

If your "conversion" is welding my current center diff, then... maybe....

Will they fit 2.5l Phase 1 Motor Legacy? The Diff for the Legacy is significantly different than WRX and 2.5RS.

I am VERY interested. When could I take a look?
