very cute

thanks for that. i appreciate it.

while i wasnt faulting you doing it (my above statement), i do consider your approach less than ideal, all things considered. my mistake on judgement.

end of story, for my records.

Ok, all news to me. I was of the belief that there was communication between the two of you and unaware that there was stepping on toes going on. I had yet to email Esemes back as it seemed apparent in his email the car would not be ready for some time, and since we were working on a deadline things must progress. That being said I would still love to work with Esemes's car on a future project I have in mind. I certainly hope there is no bad blood here as it seems we are amidst confusion. My apologies if I have failed to communicate and or respect any party involved here. If anyone has any questions or comments please feel free to send them to my attention.

Best Regards,

Robert Maddrey

Thanks for that Rob.
As I told you in my e-mail, I was only inquiring because of the absence of Scott's car. Please feel free to quote my original communication to you.
Don't know what's going on here but think what has happened is clear.
Sorry Scott

Maybe this should just get the lock and we all just go on our merry little ways (taking things to PM)?

I agree with Billy things look to have settled down. The problem with the net is it's SUCH a flat medium for communication. It's said that 95% of communication is non verbal. I guess that includes giving someone the finger. . From that it's easy to see how things get misconstrued.

All I can say is from meeting y'all at Sonic you all seem like great people. Passionate. Like myself. Nothing wrong with expressing your personal opinion as long as it can be done without being malicious. That being said....
Ahh the variety of life. I understand where you're coming from hardlyBoostn but like Billy I'm of the opposite camp: I LOVE keeping my car stock looking or very low key. It's only when it's too late that people find out it's not stock.

My first car back in the mid 80s was a Dodge Dart with a 318 ci, white vinyl top and *gasp* hubcaps! Around the time when the Mustang Gt was first reintroduced. When I'd line up with those, z28s and Camaros they'd snicker. Until I whooped their azz! I remember this one guy I worked with said "Why do you always talk about racing that car it looks like my grandma's car". Until I took him out for a ride. After he cleaned out his pants he wanted to go out for another ride. In fact after that he kept asking me all the time. Lol.

The good thing is that we all keep an open mind. I've seen things some people did to their car and I'm like ehhhh why did they do THAT? Then I talk to them or start thinking about it myself and I see the validity of it. Btw this does NOT include rice!

To each their own. Congrats Brian on this shoot and congrats Scott on the upcoming one.
