Check out Scoobymods.com. They have a write up on how to disable the drls. It's just a plug that needs to be disconnected.

the DRL module is on the passenger side front shock tower. First, start by removing the airbox. In order to remove the lower half of the airbox, you'll need to remove two 12mm bolts down low - you will need at least a 6" extension.

Next, look at the front of the shock tower. Underneath the black bracket, there should be a silver box. It's like 1"x3" in size and says "Caution High Temp" in red.

All you need to do is unplug this module. You can remove it completely if you want, then zip-tie the connector.

Next replace the airbox and you're done!

Be patient, people. Phone isn't uploading pics at the moment.

I also made a custom aluminum mesh grill. Looks much better, and protects from rocks and bugs that would normally be able to go through and damage A/C condenser.

$10 I'll make you one and install it, too

Easy! A little dental floss or 20lb test mono and some goo-be-gone. No holes.
