Hello! Moving to the area.
What do you have to do in order to get your car registered in FL? I've been trying to check up on it on online but the "DMV" there isn't helping much. I'm all down for the no front plate, but wow. I heard it was mad expensive to get everything transfered. Also how much does insurance run down there? Just woundering if I need to sell a kidney or anything.
Thanks in advance
Thanks in advance

Plates: It wasn't much to transfer the plates over. I want to say less than $100, but the state of Florida make you register on your birth month. So if you birthday is June and you register in April. You pay for a entire year in April and again in June.
Yes I was to lazy to scroll up and look where you were coming from but VA should be close and not too much of a shock. Ahh, go check out progressive.com and see what they say?

Well my birthday is in October, so what now?
We're goin to see if I put his name (Nik) on my title (even if we're not married) if he'll be able to plate it in Ohio (where he's orginally from) cause VA is a bit picky in that department.
We're goin to look into the whole combined insurance, cause I heard that goes down. Plus IF we ever do decide to tie that knot, it should go down more. Or hopefully it will.

So if you got here in April registered for 2005 you tags would expire in Oct 05 and you would need to renew it again. Re new is only $35 which is cheaper than the initial registration. (Sorry forgot to mention that earlier)
