Well, I talked to Bill yesterday for a while and as of right now he is at 360whp with torque close to 360 at 4800rpm's. He is by NO MEANS FINISHED with the tune. He will have the car until Thursday and hopefully end resulst will be available. With the above mentioned numbers he was at 18 to 18.5 psi and was planning to play with timing and upping the boost. Hopefully the numbers are good for those of us ready to make our slow grocerier getting STi's into a decent everyday driver that they should be. lol

I saw two pulls today, max was 345 whp around 19psi. I thought those sr55's could do more. I guess we'll wait until the final results are in though.

They are made for a lot more power, but it's not something you can just slap on and get the power. Tuning is the key for a safe dentonation free drive. We will see what happens, only time will tell. Did you happen to ask him what the duty cycle was at? I forgot to ask him when I was there. I know they have the new NISMO fuel injectors at 720cc or 740cc, can't remember. Just curious...

All I know is that they are 720s. Not sure about IDC percentage though.

345 seems very low.....even with a conservative tune.

it is.........

my sr55 made 345 on 91 octane @ 18psi peak, and on a dyno dynamics dyno, as tuned by dynocomp (sr55, 3"tbe, fmic, nismo inj, and cai). that dyno reads lower than anything around, and stock sti's are in the low 220's on it......

im confident there's a whole lot more to be had; they'll figure it out........

perhaps the oem solenoid cannot hold the boost??

-s

i look forward to the final numbers!
