ok that is on hillsborough right? I went to some crap dealer on florida and there was nobody in the show room and they had about 6 cars total to look at.

yeah seen that too. they have a bunch of people that have made it well over 150k. a few over 200k

The overall assembly quality of the Imprezas ('02 WRX, '04 STi and '04 Forester) we have owned is better than our '04 Acura TL (USA assembeled) but slightly below our '02 Acura RSX (Japan assembeled).
The issue isn't specific to Subaru, non of the cars we have owned recently have had great paint. The paint on the '04 STi seemed be better formulated compared to the '02 WRX.

regular WRx's have shallow gears and aren't made to handle alot of power. STi gears are a good replacement. trust me....we just did the whole swap (tranny out, gearset out, sti gears in, tranny in). first gear is a lil longer..
