Question Help with 02-03 wrx begginning mods

well the time has come and I am getting married this summer with that I will be getting rid of my prelude and purchasing an 02 -03 wrx in which will accomodate a baby seat if necessary...one of the first mods I want to do is either a front mount intercooler or a larger top mount intercooler...if anyone could help me with there thoughts on which is best way to go I would appreciate it whether it be a greddy, hks, blitz or pwr .......along with this i will have to get an intake(short ram) to corrsespond, header and exhasust.... I am trying to do this on a budget nice parts but not unrealistic at same time along with not doing any damage by maybe only being able to install things one at a time thanks all thoughts welcome...

No need for either of the IC upgrades until you making some decent power. Intake is pretty useless unless you tune for it. Catless turbo back exhaust is where it's at. Header won't make a huge difference w/o some engine upgrades too.

intake, exhaust and a piggyback/reflash will get you more hp than a bigger intercooler.i guess what im trying to say is an intercooler shouldnt be your first mod.and i wouldnt worry about headers until your making some serious hp.

Buy the car, drive it, then decide what you want to do.

Uppipe, TBE and EM. Should be good for 40-50 whp. May want to think about wheel/tire combo as well. RE92's aren't the grippiest tires. Check out NASIOC.com, lot's of info for Suby's.

I dont think u should b worying about your intercooler unless you upgraded the turbo. I've even seen wrx's with the vf series turbo and it did fine with the stock top mount.
