i installed my new carbon fiber hood scoop on my STi. i think it looks really good. gives it a little stealthy look. im not too sure about the mesh in the air dam. im thinking of taking it out and painting it black so it cant be seen.
some pics.

yes i know i need to wash my car, lol
ive got a few PM's about me selling my stock STi hood scoop. im not sure if i want to sell it yet but i will consider offers. if i get an offer i cant refuse i will sell it. it is in mint conditon. not a single scratch. the color is obsidian black pearl. its a black paint with blue fake in it. only have 2500 miles on the scoop

Looks nice man. I'd paint the mesh though. A carbon fiber hood would also compliment your car.

being silver, the mesh looks a little funny...
Maybe it would look better black...
Cant go wrong with just getting an I/C shield

Anything but the most coarse "open" IC shield is lame, IMO.
Do yourself a favor if you buy one. Hold it in front of a fan and put your hand 3" behind it. Then move the screen out of the way. Then get back in your car and return it, buy a pack of toothpicks for 50 cents to fix the 4 slightly bent IC fins you will get per year, and drive your car.
