Header Choice

I was thinking bout getting a header for my 02 WRX. So far I have a SR30, DR500 FMIC, STi Injectors, MRT UP/DP, B&B Cat Back, ECUtek, and some other stuff. I was wondering how much power I could pick up off of a header. Would I see quicker spool? My friend said he got better gas mileage with his HKS header. What header would you pick?

i dunno.. never really been a fan of headers on the WRX... i'd prolly spend the money in other areas.

You would probably pick up 8-10 whp and lose some 100 rpms on spool. Do a search on NASIOC under headers and you will find a ton of info.

I just happen to have a brand new GT Spec II SS header and uppipe for sale. PM me if your interested.

Yeah Mantra's headers are a damn good setup.

HK$ are expensive, or at least they used to be.

I did a search on there after i made this post and they have a Header FAQ on there. I thought that was kinda cool that they had that. why are you selling the gt spec?

I don't need it. I thought my Borla header was cracked and ordered the GT SpecII as a replacement. Turns out the flex section in my MRT uppipe was shot and replaced it with the APS version. So, I have a brand new header/uppipe combo sitting in my garage.
