Default STi spec C or ESX package

I am desperate for a road race car, and im already missing subys.. i want a spec c if they are to come here or the 425 hp esx car WITH a full factory warranty! Does anyone have any info on these cars, i really want one, and plan on buying another turbo suby before 06... I like my supra, but something about the sound and feeling of the subys ill never get over... anyhow, what im saying is that the raw power i can make now isnt the same as controlled fun i had with the suby, i need both, and i want one of these cars, at reasonable price... if it isnt feasible, i will just "Settle" for an STi, not to say thats a bad thing, but i want a full fledged factory racecar, and i dont really want to do a whole lot of mods with another suby, i want a well sorted track/street car, that has the cool quirky look, and sound ive come to like so much... Any info/help is much appreciated

Mark

Both cars are equally badass to me but i think you would have better luck getting your hands on a esx/sti better than a spec-c. Also if i remember correctly the spec-c does not come with ac. and driving around in Florida during the summer without ac. in not my idea of a comfortable car. I also think the esx/sti seems more reliable than if you were to buy an sti and create the same amount of power. My vote is for esx/sti.

The magazine was a misprint. The warrenty is through ESX not Subaru.

We called them when we read that.

And the price will be $55,000 according to Easy Street.

the fact that the spec c doesnt have ac isnt a factor cuz he has a 05 dodge ram that is his daily driver. this would pretty much be a track/weekend car.

I saw that article as well. Thought the info was a little vague. Does no specify type of blower, dyno plots, boost, etc. I'm a stickler for details and 55g's is alot of money for a car with such limited information.
