Does anyone have the hks downpipe i wanted to know if it is a good downpipe before i buy it cause i found a great deal on one.

yeah they dont come belmouth, i had my hks down pipe converted to belmouth at coast dyno

 

This would be a good alternative if you were to run an external wastegaste. Otherwise, I'd opt for something like Helix, APS, TurboXS etc.

 

I have a Hks downpipe and have no problems with it. If you have a good deal take it. If I could go back and choose I would get Helix.

 

I would widdle my own out of a infested old forest log, before i would ever put anything aps on my car. its like the honda crowd ,lets pay a over inflated price for something thats from another country. there products are over rated and WAY over priced. but they stay alive b.c ppl with more money than brains think the best products are the highest priced.

With that said i would go with a Turbo Xs down pipe and hks exhaust. I had the hks d/p with my hks cat back and it was real loud. with the 4 1/2 inch dp it takes alot of the noise out of the exhaust. bellmouth is allways a better idea but if you dont have the $$ the hks is better than your stock d/p

 

Your car is from another country, and so is your HKS exhaust.

 

i did not buy my car just for the fact that its jdm or whatever. I bought it b/c the dsm's are all but reliable and i wanted another awd turbo that could be just as fast or faster thats why i bought it.

If there was a us version for lest say 5.g cheaper i would be driving that for sure. i dont buy shit b/c its cool or a name brand.
