so where's the coupe ?
Well Insurance company's could then consider it a sports car instead of sedan and charge us hard working citizens more money. Maybe just weld them shut? Ha ha...
Honestly the first time I saw a Subaru I was back home on leave after being in Kuwait. This was back in I think 1999 and a kid I went to highschool with had a WRX with that chamelion paint on it and it looked really nice. Ever since then I wanted a Subaru. I could afford one until 04 and I'm glad I waited because thats when the STi came out.
Sorry other than that I don't know the history that well. Since then I've seen a few rally races (on tv) and that made me want one even more. I'm not going to rally my car though.

Steve, by all accounts that I've heard, the reason there was no coupe was because of sales figures. The coupes weren't generating a high enough percentage of total sales for Subaru to continue to keep them in the line up.

And I know my wife does too. You should see the blank looks she gets when she flashes her lights or acknowledges most WRX/Sti owners when she is in her '99 2.5RS.
