launching techniques
ok i have an 05 STi and its just now broke in and its a blast to drive. quick ass hell. im eager to start practicing to launch this AWD beast. what are some techniques you guys may suggest for me to try? anyone out there with an STi, what are you guys launching at? what kind of 60 fts you pulling?

Bounce the needle between 4000 and 5000 rpms slip it just a little then dump it. I dont know if i said it exactly how i do it but it sounds close. I bet you will be scared to break somthing the first couple times but you get used to it.

If you have never launched an AWD turbo car, you will BOG. It will happen just get used to it and practice. Rev to 4500 rpms with your foot easing off the clutch, floor it right before the engagement point and than let off the clutch totally and hang on hehe. -KEVIN-
