i don't think $150 is unreasonible for the uppipe, to tell the truth. I paid $100 to hybrid performance to borrow their equipment and my friend 99b16si did 99% for me and it was a real pain in the ass. I've heard up-pipe installs as high as $500 before. You don't need to take off the dp to do the uppipe, best way to do the install is to jack up the motor (found that out the hard way and removed the whole turbo & brackets instead ) I've never been to coastal but it sounds fair, i wouldn't want to have to touch the Up ever again! haha. Why don't you pay coastal to do the Up and do the easy dp yourself, if they'll give you the same price? Just a thought. Best of luck.

Well, I am waiting on a pm from ryan or sam........hopefully a better deal on the install. Which would be great because this is not the last install i will need on the subie. The car is still BRAND NEW! But I will be doing new Bigger turbo,FMIC, Injectors,ecu....Blah blah blah!So....finding a good ,affordable, reputable shop is what I am trying to do. Anybody else got suggestions??

Oh, Thanks Apexi, Ill call you!

It is a pretty involved install, unless you try shortcuts and really screw something up.

Just be careful of what you do if you still want to have the factory warranty available.

np just trying to help out I think you should just a get a friend that is very knowledgeable about cars and do it together. It will save you couple hundred dollars. I would help you but I never installed an uppipe before and mine came with the car.

If I do this myself, Is it safe too say that I could reuse my gaskets since my car is still new with only 5,000 miles on her.
