He is correct, somewhat. Sti owners have had problems with boost creep when going with a full TBE. Hence, porting the turbo has helped. However, WRX owners do not suffer these problems with the little TD04. If you want to wake up the WRX, you'll need an up-pipe/downpipe combo.

Is this the stainless steel version of the EVO or the aluminized steel with the corrosion coating? I used to run an EVO on my Civic back in the day and that was by far one of the heaviest exhausts I've ever seen.

Uh... it weighs less than stock, so weight is pretty much not an issue.
