AWD > Rain
Holy hell...driving the STi in the rain is definately an experience. Coming from the Civic, in which any aggressive throttle stab would result in either wheel-spin or an unsettling leftward drift, the STi acts like it doesn't give a damn. Whether I'm leaving from a stoplight or rounding a corner, the STi just scoots along like normal. In fact, if it weren't for the rain beating down on the windshield I'd be hard pressed to believe that the road was actually wet. :o
God...AWD is a wonderful thing. Why didn't I buy a Subaru sooner?

whenever i drive my girlfriend's car in the rain, it takes some wheel spin or a slight scare to remind me that it's FWD.

i drive a different type of car all together (91 Eclipse GSX), but + muthafuckin 1, i was out driving the GSX during the hurricane before the winds were hitting full tilt, and mashing it in 2nd gear would not break the car loose, it actually kinda frustrated me to where i had to go home and get the supra so i could enjoy some hurricane drift action
but next time theres a large rainstorm, lets get all the AWD's together and have the Rain Challenge
