i was thinking about installing one on my bosal... ive heard stories of peoples whistling and being really annoying, is this true????

With any cutout there is going to be a problem with getting and keeping a good tight seal. Pretty much anyone you use is going to leak, it's just finding one that leaks the least and that you can live with.

Personally, after seeing a few different ones from different manufactures, the DMH cutout has the nicest seal by design.

I did have an issue with mine not sealing and making a nice rattle, but that was because a set screw had backed out and been lost. Once I replaced it everything is fine.
