Default whos dealt with mastro subaru?

are they honest dealers? are they straight foward with their pricing or do they try to slip back door add-ons to the price. im only asking cuz after i dealt with jerry ulm dodge i felt like we got ass raped. leaning towards getting a wrx so i wanna know which dealer is honest and deserves my business. thanks!

I think you'll find that nearly every owner who posts here bought their WRX from Mastro. I had a good experience with my deal. At the time I bought mine, prices were a bit higher as the car was a hotter item, but from what I understand most people are getting really nice deals right now. I think Leslie on the board just bought a WRX from them, so she can give you a more recent testimonial.

Pete Mastro to me seems like he only wants you around if you are going to make him money. His salesmen are great people though. But they just finsihed expanding his dealership, and in all its a okay place.

I just bought my WRX from Mastro in 3/04. The guys at Mastro are good people. I know they are fair about the prices because my girl works for the company that finances their loans. Also, the salespeople do not work for commission off the price of the car like alot of dealerships. Instead, they get one unit for each sale. So they are more concerned with putting you in the car you want than selling you the more expensive car. A sale is a sale regardless of the price. In addition, my girl drove about 30 minutes to Mastro to get a APS blow off valve installed and when she got there they didn't have the valve in stock. So they upgraded to the GFB and didn't charge the difference.

Pete does service now. His bro does sales. But nonetheless, the dealership as a whole is most excellent. Sean and David are the best sales guys there no doubt.

exactly

hell when we were buying mine, he came by, talked to our salesman and walked away. no "hi, thanks for buying a car from us" or nothing.

next they fucked up our APR and tried to make me come in and resign all the paperwork for a HIGHER APR, that didnt happen.

went to get warantee work for a misaligned steering wheel and squeeky windows, wasnt fixed right.

wouldnt warantee my motor bc the vacuum line was connected from the wastegate acuator to the turbo, which would make it run LESS boost then stock. But yet they sell boost controllers there and know of people that have had motor problems bc of boost controllers and yet they warantee them. People drive around all day on upgraded turbos and shit, but yet my 13g blew up my motor? give me a fucking break.

ask ryan how the fucked him out of like $1300 AND misinstalled all his parts, including his sideways mounted fuel cell, that was the best.

go to ANY other subaru dealership BUT mastro. there are 2 others in the area to choose from.

i already bought mastrosubarusucks.com and fully intend on making mine, and everyone else's (theres a lot out there) bad experiences with them known on every subaru site i can find.

they probably wouldn't warranty the motor because service people read this forum and know that you've been spraying the fuck out of the motor.....blowing up a motor because you put nitrous on it bone stock doesn't entitle you to a new motor and fucking shit up for the rest of us who one day may have a legit warranty repair.

I purchased cars from a few dealerships around and by far mastro is the best IVe dealt with (even though I didn't buy it from them I wish I did) and Sean and Pete still say high to me and we shoot the shit, again even without buying from them (Im sure they get their fair share from my service and other money I put it there), I honestly cant think of any other dealership where as a whole I have had better experiences with (suncoast porsche VW and Audi has an AWSOME service dept, but not better than mastro)
