Subaru (Fuji Heavy Industries) builds the Impreza, Forester, and Outback sedans in Gunma, Japan, about an hour northeast of Tokyo by train.

My brother and I arrived in Gunma, and walked to the Subaru main office about 200m from the station. The lady at the front dest didn't speak any English, and handed us pass cards that we had to fill out. I'm not sure if she was supposed to do this, but we filled them out with our names and wrote that we were from the US, to make it look more official. I think she autmatically thought we worked for FHI, being two white guys in the middle of nowhere Japan...so she gave us passes, and we gave ourselves a tour!!!
