are schroth ralye harnesses good?
they work, but I wouldn't use them if you didn't have a cage, if you do roll over you have no place to go (and most events wont let you use them like at an auto x unless you have a cage)

Are you talking about a normal harness?
If so, like Bone said, I wouldn't run a harness with out a cage to support the roof in the case of a rollover. Seatbelts are designed to allow lateral movement so you can get out of the way of a collapsing roof. A harness will hold you in place.

harness' are fine for autox but i wouldn't do a track day in one with out a cage. actually the schrothe's are the only harnesses that are DOT approved, they do allow some movement in case you get in a wreck!

yes I am talking about those 4 pts, I know from experience that they will not let you compete in certain track events without an SCCA approved cage
