Agreed about the 'noids. They aren't happy getting run for extended periods of time.
I've never had experience with the kit or any like it personally but I would probably choose a water spray kit instead. I'd rather fill a bottle for internal engine use then to just spray around outside the car.

what I want to do is do a mix of alcohol spray followed by short bursts of nitrous or CO2 since the alcohol will stay cool, but not freeze and add cooling effect by transferring the heat into its own evaporation, but thats just my silly idea

a well built spray kit will be cheaper and do just as much as the Ntercooler thing.. water has a higher specific heat and evaporating water involves a phase change .. it will carry the heat away from the heatsink.. ahem.. intercooler better than spraying it with gas which wont phase change and has a lower specific heat (ie cant soak as much heat) ..
intercoolers soak the heat out of the charge as it passes through it.. the air flow on them carries that heat away.. putting a fine mist on the IC and in the air flowing through the fins will allow that air to carr alot more heat away from the IC ..
my 2 pet peeves on turbo cars are turbo timers and nitrous on intercoolers .. 2 rather expensive wastes of money.
