im thinking of getting an 88 xt6 awd w diff. lock option and some other stock goodies is it worth it ? for like $1000 and it needs paint and a clutch. also a clutch estimate plz? thx

 

Those are fun cars, I'd go for it. Check the power steering, it uses a special hypoid P/S fluid and will go bad if regular P/S fluid is put in. If you need parts there's an '88 XT6 AWD Auto in the Tampa Copher's!
