Volume or Velocity in exhaust????
all the evidence i have ever seen points toward an uneven balance.... ex. 80% heat(velocity) and 20% actual flow. It makes sense this way considering that heat is more energy than actual airflow

bellmouth owns all. i've delved deeply into this subject in researching optimal exhaust flow from the valves out to the exhaust...however i haven;t started to research how the collectors work and the exhaust principles...but i'd say it's about a nice flow instead of velocity, smooth and steady without turbulence.
I would take velocity over volume in a turboed application that needs to be street driven, but if I'm building a dyno queen or drag strip only car, I'd go with big volume and an anti-lag sprayer.
