Default Hook up of a A/F guage

My brother has a 02 wrx and we would like to know what is best to do as far as running the signal wire...does anyone know if it is better to run it to the sensor itself or closer to the ecu

im pretty sure most everyone works on the car, its just that i dont know of too many to have hooked up an air fuel gauge to the factory o2 sensor...possib try looking for an ECU pinout, and tap the line to the ECU, then all the wires are inside the car, done.... other than that, couldnt tell you

your wasting time and money if your installing a A/F gauge off of the factory sensor, namely one of the Autometer units with the dancing lights. your much better off using an EGT gauge thats properly installed for a few more dollars. unless of corse you just want the light show, they are worthless.
