Yeah that place is definitly screwy....says it's a '96-'00 motor, then says its a Ver 5, Ver 6 type ('98-00), Make up your damn mind 
...and they say its 280 HP (only the Ver5/6's were that much) and.....
....the motor in the picture has an earlier (Version 4 I believe) intercooler on it.....
So basically you really don't know what you might be buying....

shit, there have been some stock USDM wrx motors for under 800 complete.. you might be better off like that and just throw some nice internals in there

Damn, I guess I owned myself. But, the people that I actually have talked to about engine/tranny/etc prices said that the whole thing like that would find it's way to me for about 3g's. Guess Im just talkin to the wrong people
