Question ASK MASTRO: alignment questions.

It seems that the steering wheel is slightly off center on my brand new STi. It is enough off for other people to notice very quickly when driving so I'm not just being a whiney bitch. I'm fairly sure it is not the road as it is off in the same direction regardless of which direction or side I'm traveling on the road(s). I have checked the tire pressure. The car doesn't pull to the side and car drives perfectly straight with the hands off the wheel but the steering is just off center. I noticed this so I searched on a couple of the forums and it seems to be fairly common on new STi's.

The question being: Does the service department at Mastro have alignment equipment? I'm correct assuming that this is a problem with the alignment and it isn't something else?

If you have concerns with you alignment I would suggest you schedule an appointment with the Service department.

I had the same thing happen to my WRX. I brought it to mastro and they aligned it for me under warranty. Actually, it seems a little off center again. Granted they centered it prolly 1 1/2 years ago so it is alright. I might bring it down there and have them take alook again. -KEVIN-

Yeah, that's the dude. The car has STI Group-N engine, tranny, pitch mounts, HKS downpipe, ATR uppipe, Cobb Stage II Access ECU, Underdrive Pulley, SS brake lines, AXXIS Ultimates pads, GFB BOV, Hella driving lights, Short Shifter. Boost, EGT, Oil Pressure Gauges.

I miss that car.

Clarification: STi Group-N motor mounts, tranny mounts and pitch mount. I sold the car with all the mods with exception of the Prodrive rear section which is bolted onto my STi now. He better be good to my girl and I better not hear the car being riced out.

Here are my memories: http://gallery.majjix.com/wrx
