Window tinting?
2 Questions: Where and What.
Where's a good place to get tint? I drove by Auto Safe and Sound (2 blocks from Mastro) and saw a WRX in there with that white dealer tape on it. Does Mastro use this place for tint? If they're using that place (which is convenient to me), I'll probably go there. Where else should I consider?
What brand/color/percent do people get. I'm thinking plain old black 35%. I've heard you should go with 3M, but is SolarGard any good?
Chime in people!

I would recommend Nu Finish Auto Salon on Florida Ave (near Reeves). They do a lot of Reeves' cars and did the tint on my WRX. I've been pretty happy with it to date. Their number is 813-962-4674 and the owner's name is Eric...how many farging Erics do I know for Jebus' sake!?
Anyway, pretty cool crew, decent prices and nice work.

Make sure you get Llumar tint. Lifetime warrenty honored anywhere that uses Llumar. And I'd recommend going with the legal limits, as not to have the worry of the po-lice pulling you over.
Legal = 35% for the front doors (or the only doors on a coupe) and 20% for anything behind the driver. Windshield strip can be 20% as well.

uh....llumar sucks. I have that shit on my car now and it's not even dark enough. I have 5% on all my windows and the front strip is pulled down below the as1 line. Police do not pull people over for tint anymore unless it's something extreme or the cop is really bored or a real dickhead. There is a place in brandon called Brandon Car Audio that my best friend used to work at, they did her tint for 110 and it's nice and dark and guarenteed. I had mine done at Divine Sounds before they closed in brandon for 100. Personally, it depends on what you want really. I prefer dark ass black tint that is hard to see through because it keeps my car a bit cooler and I can make faces at people and they can't see me or I can change in the car and not worry about people. Just make sure you know what you want first hand, maybe see some cars up close in the daytime/nighttime to see what you like best because it's a pain in the ass to retint a car.

I got mine tinted there after I bought the car and haven't had any problems with it.

llumar is the best, and have lifetime warrantees against peeling and fading (most shops).
