CLUTCH question!

I don't think I would touch that thing with a 10' pole.
But Erik, it sounds like it is designed for manuals that have a hydraulic clutch. It uses a punp to regulate pressure on the clutch in "Auto" mode. And I can't figure out how they plan for it to change gears if all you are doing it pushing/pulling the shifter and all the kit does is tap into the tranny oil pressure lines.?.?

the only thing i can think of that would be somewhat similar is what my friends and I did to a 91 talon. it went along the lines of hooking a switch to the shifter that went to a solenoid that activated a secondary pneumatic line to push the clutch fork in. so all you did was hit the switch on the shifter and the clutch un engaged. shifted, released and the clutch engaged. it's probably a bit more advanced than that...i hope....but it probably works along the same lines.

You could always go my route and have a "Highway Automatic 5 Speed"
The damn gearset is geared so low I never take it out of 5th once I get on the interstate. And after a confirming run last night the car is gear limited to 135ish just like all the calculators said.
