I can't afford Altezza's anyhooo....I seemed to have killed my tranny after 76,000 miles! So I'm sport'n the Mastro "Courtesy" Forester for a few days!

None planned! Although we are supposed to get a bunch of rain this week! :o

RS Tranny update:
5th gear, sleeve & syncro - DOA
1st - 4th, scored
reverse input shaft, scored

Remedy - Full Tranny Rebuild, gears, sleeves, syncro's, etc.
Approximate downtime - 3 days

Approximate downtime - 3 days
Ouch. Should have called me bud, could have scored you some RA gears for the price of that rebuild...but then again, it's backordered due to shortage of fifth gear.

Opie's so JDM, he subtitles English language movies in kanji. :o

Thanks for the offer Erik! Parts for the rebuild aren't to bad, it's when you add that labor charge things start sounding expensive! I don't think my Chilton's covers a tranny rebuild with enough detail to make me want to try it myself!
