Default aftermarket product complaint

ok... i just wanted to see what products people have problems with and why... anything and everything. from installation error, horrible construction etc.. whatever you've had go wrong with aftermarket parts... unless of course you dont wanna say ~ i dont wanna talk about my transmission

~ intercooler - piping seems to be designed for an STi and it hits the drivers side headlight housing, causing the bulb to move when the engine torques ~ this really is no big deal, just one of those things

HKS carbon Ti exhaust ~ hit the diff cover, removed it... hit the swaybar, gone when the progress bar replaced the factory one, and hit the rear diff, gone when i put vishnu urethane exhaust hangers on..

Greddy Bov kit ~ dumb to begin with, requires removal of the dumb ventilation hoses, bolted onto intercooler... dumbest flange ON EARTH. constant boost leaks

all in all however, with the exception of the intercooler piping, the APS products have been my least problematic stuff.. nice quality lookin stuff, and the BOV has given me less problems than ANY other i have owned!

spo motorsports organic clutch.

they claim it will hold a low pressure turbo kit.....after 600 really really easy break in miles it slips like no tomorrow. once it's engaged it's ok, but shifting and launching hard are impossible now. a aand that means, no killer awd launching. i should have bought a real clutch....oh well....

I can't think of anything personally but I stay away from ...

* JG Engine Dynamics
* Turbonetics Turbochargers
* OBX
* Meng
* Benson

Those are off the top of my head.

I generally do a lot of reading before I buy anything, so I know exactly what I want when I buy it. Read, read and read some more, that's my advice to avoiding shite car parts.

2turbo - I've heard bad things about that SPO clutch before. I'm going with an Exedy sport and lightened flywheel, when it's time.

The Whiteline roducts that I have on the car seem to be holding up well. Easy installation, reasonable price.
