ill put this here i didnt want to start a new thread on it yet if it needs to break off it can

i picked up a new STi blow off valve for cheap for my nissan project, just needs something that recirculates. okay, good.

well it is the same flange as the current pre sti wrx and im assuming its the same blow off valve actually, but it recirculates and it works for what i need. so okay, good.

however it is that wierd ass semi-triangular flange that it would mount to the stock topmount with. its obviously not interchangeable with a dsm/greddy/blitz flange as some of those interchange.

does mastro sell these flanges or can someone direct me to an aftermarket site that sells a flange. i was skimming stupid street magazine at the store the other day and found that a company makes a adapter flange that goes from stock wrx to a greddy type s or blitz or something or other flange, but then id have to spend money on that and either hack it up and waste my money or get a greddy flange, weld that on, use the adapter, all just for a stinkin stock bov that would end up adding up to be more than what a stock aftermarket bov goes for.

any help is appreciated. thanks

Dan,

Since we only sell BOVs for WRXs I only carry BOV that have the flanges already.

I would suggest Racing Zone, the can probably get them.

im not sure of what you're saying. you mean you only sell bov's with the flange as a package? all i have is the stock wrx blow off valve. i just need the flange it goes to but since the stockers bolt directly to the stock top mount intercoolers, they might be hard to find. if not ill call racing zone or possibly find something.

Sorry I didn't get what you were saying.

All WRXs have always had the BOV flange made into the intercooler meaning you cannot get it seperate.

Now most WRX aftermarket front mount intercoolers have a triangular flange fitting so you can use the stock BOV. However from the companies we deal with we cannot get them seperate.

Your best bet would be to find someone who has done such an upgrade and did not need the flange.

Would you guys at mastro happen to be looking for some one to do detailing? Id LOVE working at a subaru dealership doing something like that. Hell, Id even take crappy hours and minimum wage if it came with the promise of getting to sit in an STi Im a really hard worker.
