With some of the larger bore intakes this has been a problem. The intake system is designed to monitor air flowing through a certain diameter pipe, when you change the size issues like this can result.
How to fix it? Take it off. Or you could buy an SAFC or something similiar, but that seems like a bit much to do just so you can keep an intake that will arguable do nothing for performance.

whats the ram air is that the short intake if its the cold air don't keep it i've seen the wavey rods as a result of a cold air intake
i would get rid of it anyway cause the stock intake is efficient enough until you get into higher boost and bigger mods

Your potato+intercooler+fuel make the power. Dump the 'cold air', get a rampod and larger TMIC(assuming you want to stay on the stock turbo). You'll thank yourself in the morning.
Your turbo heats up the air far more than an intake cools it off. Focus on the hot potato Skeetlesan.
p.s. Billy - answer your PMs d00d!!
