Nice. Is that an HKS downpipe??? With the T3/T4 rig, it's actually a good fit since you'll be running the external wastegate. Which tranny are you looking at putting into the Scoob?

no the downpipe was made by us, and the bung i think your lookin at is for the external wastegate, as far as tilting the turbo im not sure exactly what you mean? but it sits horizontal on the car, the discharge isnt in the same spot as a factory replacement turbo and this isn't something that bolted right in, but after doing this one the next one shouldn't be as time consuming. and the nice thing about this kit is that the turbo options are pretty much wide open. its impossible to put down huge numbers with any of the IHI turbos or anything that is factory replacement IMO. and not for lack of trying the PE, AVO, and APS turbos. i just cant see over 500 to the wheels w/ any of those set ups.

and the tranny consists of a stock flywheel, Cusco cerametallic clutch, and some internal modifacations done in house. its held up to heavy abuse at the track, including numerous 40 or more 1.6-1.7 60ft times. i dont care what anyone says about the stock trannys, they are good to 300 at the wheels, IF driven correctly. although i dont expect it to last too long w/ this set up

The IHIs just don't flow enough air, but for ~300whp a VF34 is a pretty cost effective choice.
