Turbo Comparo!
it takes me about 30 minutes to convert a car to RWD now, i basically copied the chiptorque adaptor from austrailia that Cobb used to use, and as far as tuning goes I only have experience w/ the UTEC for Subarus, but most user friendly systems arent to hard to transfer knowledge to if you have a good place to start.

im getting worried now... i hope i didnt spend all this money to come up short!:o im hoping for around the same 300 whp mark, but im worried as sometimes it seems like my car is down on power?!
oh well...
ill hope for the best...
also..
what exactly has to be done to create an RWD setup there?
i keep trying to figure it out... im just not picking it up?

Drop the front drive shafts, insert locked center diff/solid drive shaft, tie car down, engage third or fourth gear and press gas pedal.
Putting a free spinning diff on the center will convert it to FWD, but you need to lock the center diff for RWD. RWD=badass, but definitely isn't fun for that tiny little rear diff! :o

well irish mikes changed out my center diff with a modified one that completely cut off front drive but i don't think i'll ever take that route again but we'll see what happens with mastro

ive got the APS DR500 FMIC... MRT rails.... walboro pump...
and hopefully sometime soon i can get my intercooler... and pick up an aps turbo too! im still debating on the 40 or the 30..
the sr 30 spools quickly, and seems to outflow the VF 22 by Quite a bit, and the 40 is compared to the PE 1820...
both more than enough for me.. im hoping 300 whp isnt to hard to see, but im starstruck with that number.. i should say i want to see a fat torque curve, and a powerband that comes on close to 4 k rpm.. i ask for a lot, but im not too experienced with the modified subarus.. i never really went more than skin deep on the car, and all i ever saw was peak numbers... well, as far as i can tell, peak doesnt mean shit...
but based on a 25% drivetrain, as billy pointed out, 300 whp turns into 400 fwhp! good enough for me...
and i know its been discussed that it isnt really a 25% drivetrain loss, but how do you explain the 227 stock HP, dynoed at 165? thats about 25 or so %...
im just not sure the APS sr 30 will do it.. id rather come on boost quicker, and lose a little top end thump, rather than have lag for days... im still looking..
the APS turbos SR 30, or 40 ?
IHI turbos possibly VF 34
PE turbos 1818-1820, <--- maybe?
and not much else has had consideration
i cant decide what id rather lose, some response for power, or some power for response....?

Sounds like your setup is much like Billy's. Just an FMIC instead of a TMIC. What did his dyno sheet end up looking like? I think your setup with any of those turbos you listed and ecutek should net near 300 to the wheels.
