Default Blitz Fatt TT

Girlfriend got me a TT for my birthday last week. I picked up some nice directions on NASIOC for the install since i have a factory alarm and there is some control module wire snipping and shit i needed to look into. I'm alittle edgy on removing the center console though for one wire and the parking brake addition. Has anyone removed the center console or done this install on this board before? I know Billy had a TT when i saw his car at the ale house a while back.
I found a page on cheesy weight savings that has removing the center console in it, starting from the storage area behind the parking break at http://www.555club.com/articles/my01...e7/article.htm

not very detailed though.
I was thinking of just going to the guys at Mastro to do it for cheap since i got the harness but whoever was on the phone said it was a 2 hr job and wanted to charge me 185 bones! Dunno what's up with that Kyle.

Write me back if you know the order to take off the center console, wanna help, or Kyle if you wanna give me a reasonable deal

wow... i can get that whole thing out with my eyes shut.. its easy... pull up round the shifter... and pull off all the trim around the shifter and the e brake... then, open the center console box thingy, and take the 4 screws out from the bottom.. there should be a total of 8 screws.. right in front of the brake handle there will be 2 and 2 more in front of the shift linkage.. voila.. at least i think thats where they are! : ) all you really need is a phillips screwdriver... shouldnt take more than 15 mins..

Zate, you're in a bad mood lately man. Let the man have his turbo timer if he wants one! Personally, I just let the car run for 20 seconds or so after I bring it to a stop and usually that's overkill, considering most people slow down for at least a minute or two before parking the car. They look trick and really can save the turbo. Stop hatin' yo!
