Default Carrillo conrods

Any opinions experience with Carrillo rods? I had a discussion with a customer about a 300Z build up he's going through and he mentioned that he will be using Carrillo A beam conrods. They do not currently list a Subaru fitment at their website, but that doesn't mean one won't come available. I'm thinking engine internals down the road and they seem like an interesting option. This would probably be better placed in a general tech forum, but I always go to the Scooby brethren before venturing out amongst the less friendly masses.

Is there not already a good set of rods available? Just asking seeing as there have to be some good options... Kinda like the JUN and HKS stroker kits... Maybe try Cobb Tuning... they have some damn nice stuff it seems like, but it comes at a heavy cost from as far as i can tell.... Not trying to tell ya what you may already know, figured id give it a shot seeing as no one has given you any help yet!

WOW:o

looks like Titan Motorsports in Orlando carries the jun kit...

The JUN kit is composed of a stroker crankshaft and JUN Forged aluminum pistons (made by Cosworth). The JUN Stroker kit provides more power and torque capabilities. Includes JUN Full Crankshaft, JUN Super Pistons and JUN Super Connecting rods.

Includes:
· Piston Rings
· Crankshaft Bearings
· Conrod Bearings
· 92.5x79.0mm

Also if you prefer we can custom order piston specifications to your needs (ie compression/diameter)

and the whole kit costs $5,499.95

Billy, will definitely let you know. You know you'll find out one way or the other...I talk too damn much! I'm thinking about displacement options...gonna have to wait a little while, but I'm thinking sometime next year.

722ish - The JUN kit is lovely, but way too $$$!!! You can buy a built motor in that price range and have money left over for beers. JUN is always good times, but I'd rather get more bang for the proverbial dollar.
