Thanks GLS for your Conformation on the Quality of The Elantra. i so far have 22,000km and i use only Synthectic Oil and i have no problem starting at -47C (keep in mind my car was not Plugged in) most cars will not even Crank at that temp. my brothers 1999 VW Jetta wolfsburge Edition did not start that morning untill I jump started him. Currently the outside temp is -27C with a windChill factor of -38C I started once again with out a problem.. Also my windows are not Fogged up at all. where as there are many cars driving around (new and old) which can barely see either they dont know how to use the Defrost or their car just doesnt warm up enough in this Cold Tempiture (Calgary Alberta Canada) these are just a few things of which Prove the Quality of this Hyundai Product

Like GLS said if you need Further Proof Ask multiple People on www.elantraxd.com or test drive one your self... Tho when Test driving keep in mind in Compleat stock form they'er a Dimond in the Ruff with a few little alterations you can unleash alot of performance. First mod that should be done on all the base model Elantra's and make a bit of a diffrence on the GT model is the Tiburon V6 19.2mm Rear sway bar + Bushings and Endlinks. this bar Bushings and endlinks makes night and day difference in the Cornering abbility of this car. and the cost for this night and day diffrence is about 70$usd or in Canada with out a Discount directly from the Dealer at Retail price is 165$ for more Performance add the V6 Struts with a set of Eibach lowering springs which will get you started with ease on an auto X circut and will not cause you to go in to a higher category b/c of the OEM Struts and sway bar.
