For those who don't believe in the SRP's I had this happen on a 100 shot of nitrous.
The SRP pistons and Eagle rods didn't seem to mind at all, although the headgasket did blow.
I know of a few people on Honda-Tech that have run 400whp on SRP's for a year and more without problems with them. As far as the .48 A/R goes I am not interested in swapping ever due to the fact I have built my SOHC with forged internals that should hold enough boost to match power any stock block DOHC is going to make. Therefore spending $3000+ on a swap doesn't interest me especially considering my D16 block build-up only cost me about $1500. The only thought in my mind is if I ever do any headwork that would allow me to increase redline, maybe I will wish that I would've had the .63. I would like to make 350whp if pump gas will allow me to. That is the maximum that my 550cc injectors could handle.
