ok my friend has 97 dodge neon, i know this is the honda forum but u guys are the best anyway. his car wont start the ecu threw a code that said to check the map sensor. Neons have leaky heads ! Their head gaskets are junk, prolly one of the worst leaking heads every made besides the 2.3L HO Olds Quad. Do a leakdown test and a compression test, leakdown will give you better results but from what your saying i say head gasket its common on neons.
