Default Head Swap ...

Well, a while back when I went to change the plugs for the first time I bought plugs to fit an e7 head, but when I tried to put the plugs in the threads were way too big on the head for the plug to thread into. Which lead me to the conclusion that I don't even have e7 heads. :o ... the plugs that ended up fitting were from a 92 5.0 ford wagon, but I don't know for sure what exact type of heads they are. So, my engine was obviously put together with spare parts and me not having a head that can flow as well as an e7 would explain my poor trap speeds.

My luck today I went to pick my dad up from work and we went over a friends of his house and his son was home who just put gt40p heads on his 5.0 and had the e7s just laying in the bed of his truck. He gave them to me for 20 bucks so I'm going to swap out the heads I have on my car now in favor of these used e7s I have now.

I know I'll need all new gaskets, but I also need to swap the rockers from my heads to the other heads and I'm not real sure how easy/hard that will be.

Also, the e7s have a pollution thing at the back of the head somewhere, I didn't see it when I was scrapping the old gaskets off, but I know it's there, but where exactly?

Any other trouble you all think I may run into while making this change?
