It will not hurt to look at it if you feel so inclined, but if you see anything in it, I'd be suspicious of other things that could be wrong based on what it is that is in the screen.
i agree , you can order the parts the o-ring is a servicebale part, te screen is replaceable in the event of damage constricting flow. but if your noid is bad its bad replace it !
